Yad L’Achim has revised its classic booklet on Sukkos, including translations into Arabic and Russian, as part of its wide-ranging outreach efforts.
The booklet—originally issued several decades ago under the direction of Yad L’Achim’s founder, Harav Shalom Dov Lifshitz, zt”l – presents the mizvos and minhagim of Sukkos in a user-friendly format.
The new edition, completely reedited and redesigned, features sections on the sukka – its building and the mitzvah to dwell there -the Arba’as Haminim, Chol HaMoed, Simchas Torah and more.
“This booklet is like fine old wine that only improves with age,” said Rabbi Shmuel Lifshitz, a senior leader of Yad L’Achim. “Presented now in a magnificent new format and with the right refinements, it makes the treasures and mysteries of the holiday accessible to the masses.”
