Agreements were finalized for the construction of a permanent home for the Or Lubavitch Chabad community in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph, under the leadership of Mara D’Asra Rabbi Michael Shlomo Avishid.
The new building will be modeled after Chabad World Headquarters – 770 and is expected to serve as a center for Torah, tefillah, and the dissemination of Chassidus, bringing nachas to the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach.
The agreements were signed together with Shmulik and Yossi Rothstein, owners of Odem Building Strategies, the company selected to oversee the project’s construction.
Specializing in the planning and construction of synagogues and public buildings, the firm is currently managing several similar projects in Beit Shemesh and will now lead the development of the new Chabad House.
The new Shul is intended to serve as an active spiritual hub for Anash, Bochurim, and community members, hosting daily Tefillos, Torah classes, farbrengens, and Chassidic activities throughout the year.
The project will also include a beautiful Mikvah and a Kollel for Avreichim.
Members of the community have expressed great excitement over the significant progress, noting that constructing a shul modeled after 770 represents another major step in expanding Torah, Tefillah, and Chassidus in Beit Shemesh, with the goal of bringing more holiness into the world and preparing for the coming of Moshiach.
