The celebration opened with a colorful parade featuring children, families, and guests marching through the streets of Makati with flags, music, and Lag BaOmer songs, expressing Jewish pride and unity.
Following the parade, participants enjoyed a spectacular fire show that captivated the crowd, along with a wide range of activities for children, including inflatable attractions, games, and special entertainment that added excitement and joy throughout the event.
A rich festive meal was served in honor of the holy tanna Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, as guests enjoyed a warm atmosphere, lively music, and an uplifting Chassidic farbrengen that continued into the evening.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Levy delivered words of Torah and inspiration about the meaning of Lag BaOmer, Ahavas Yisroel, and the powerful light of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai that illuminates Jews in every corner of the world—even in the heart of Manila.
His wife, Tiferet, warmly welcomed guests and helped create the warm and family-oriented atmosphere for which Chabad of Makati is known throughout the year.
The event concluded with spirited singing and dancing, as participants left with a strong sense of inspiration and unity.
