The Gabbaim of 770 released a detailed letter on Friday addressing standards of conduct and decorum in the Shul.
The letter reiterates the Rebbe’s longstanding guidelines that the Seder in 770 is entrusted to the Gabbaim, and is to be carried out in accordance with the directives of the Crown Heights Beis Din.
In the two-page statement, the Gabbaim emphasize the unique Kedusha of 770 and the responsibility of every Chossid to maintain an atmosphere befitting a Makom Kadosh. The letter outlines expectations for behavior during davening, learning, and throughout the day, calling on all those present to uphold proper respect for the place and those around them.
The Gabbaim also stress the importance of following established schedules and respecting the authority of those tasked with maintaining order, noting that this is essential to preserving the dignity and sanctity of 770.
