After sitting abandoned for over two decades, the Kollel building behind 770-Beis Chayeinu began to be demolished. In its place, b’ezras Hashem, a spacious temporary tent will be erected on the grounds of the Kollel Avrechim with a new and spacious zal for the yungerleit, who attend the Kollel.
The planned tent will have 300 seats and will provide a dignified, comfortable, and accessible atmosphere for study. This is a new initiative that will respond to a need that has been crying out from our house of life for a permanent and beautiful place for the young men who meditate on Torah.
The project managers said they “would like to thank a group of avrechim, including Rabbi Shmuli Avzon, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Altein, and many others, for their great help with the project.”
