Following the arrival ceremony, the Vice President is set to travel to Kiryat Gat in southern Israel, the site of the U.S.-led multinational headquarters overseeing the Gaza ceasefire.
The visit is expected to center on finalizing Phase A of the ceasefire agreement, with discussions also planned regarding the return of hostages and fallen soldiers. Officials say Vance’s meetings will help set the stage for Phase B of the Trump administration’s plan for Gaza. He is scheduled to depart Israel on Thursday.
