4 European commissioners including the economy, law, taxes and education, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium and representatives of over 20 European countries participated in the ceremony of the Shloshim held at the European synagogue, organized by Rabbi Menachem Margolin President of the European Jewish Associations (EJA) and the EJCC, Brussels. Mr. Joel Mergui, president of the Jewish Consistoire of France also participated in this event.
Mr. El Jabri Niddal organizer of the circle of 1,000 people of all faiths around the synagogue in Copenhagen after the attack, received a medal in recognition for his outstanding work.
Finally Mr. Uzan father of the victim killed at the synagogue, was present as well as the father of the girl celebrating her Bat Mitzvah in the synagogue at the time of the attack.
Rabbi Margolin demanded from the politics to do everything so that Jews really feel safe everywhere in Europe.
