A group of Talmidim in the Online Smicha program, led by Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm for over a decade, was tested before Yom Tov on Hilchos Maacholei Akum by Rabbi Shmuel Katzman of Hague, the Netherlands.
Rabbi Katzman was impressed by the level of knowledge the Talmidim had shown, and expressed his satisfaction to Rabbi Wilhelm.
This group is one of 4 groups learning Smicha in the program, a unique program that offers both the flexibility of the internet and schedule, but without compromising on the personal interaction and high level of learning.
“It is incredible to see the progress made by our Talmidim,” says Rabbi Avtzon from Machon Lehoraa, “sitting at the test and seeing how well versed and clear they are in the halachos is an incredible sight. It’s easy to forget that these are not yeshiva students who are sitting in the yeshiva the entire day, rather a group of busy professionals who dedicate their time to study every day”.
