We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Sarah Chayempour, matriarch of a large Chabad family, who passed today, Thursday 27 Av.
She was 86 years old.
She was born and grew up in Iran. Her father was a dedicated, trusted Shochet. During the 1979 Revolution she sent her children to the US, ultimately following them and settling in Passaic, NJ and then Great Neck, NY.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who imbued her offspring with a strong Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit.
She is survived by her sons Aharon Chayempour – New Jersey, Moshe Chayempour – California, Yitzchak Chayempour – Great Neck, NY and Dovid Chayempour – Toronto.
The funeral is today, Thursday, at 3 PM at Mount Hebron Cemetery, 130-04 Horace Harding Expy, Flushing, NY 11367.
