As ChabadInfo.com has been reporting, the Champlain Towers condominium building in Surfside, FL collapsed early Thursday morning. As of now, nine people have been reported dead, with 152 residents still unaccounted for. Crews from several organizations, including the IDF Homefront Command have been working tirelessly to recover those missing.
The couple originally hailed from Venezuela, and moved to Florida quite recently. The two were very close to the Lubavitch community in Chicago.
