Last summer, in the height of COVID, while border restrictions between the US and Canada made it almost impossible for bochurim to cross, Yeshivas Lubavitch – Toronto, under the auspices of Rabbi Akiva Wagner, purchased a state of the art campground in Star Lake, a small enclave in Upstate New York.
After a successful summer 5780, the yeshiva has returned to the campground for another yeshivas kayitz. The hanhala and bochurim arrived last Wednesday, 6 Tammuz.
Being that the Tanya was not printed as of yet on the grounds, the bochurim decided that it would be the befitting way to kick off another amazing summer.
