Question: My doctor told me to get the vaccine. I scheduled my appointment to get it next Sunday. They said that 3 weeks later I need to get the second vaccine. My question is, am I allowed to get it on chol hamoed.
Answer: It is permitted. However, if it’s possible – following the doctor’s instructions – to delay or do it earlier in order that the shot(s) shouldn’t take place on Chol Hamoed, it is preferable.
