With great sadness we inform you of the passing of R’ Elazar Kalman Tiefenbrun, OB”M, of the Lubavitch community of London, England. R’ Elazar Kalman passed away on Wednesday, Chamisha Asar B’Shvat. He was 88-years-old.
Tiefenbrun, was a famous Lubavitch artist, who drew many painting of the Rebbe, and many others. His painting can be found on the walls of many homes and Shuls around the world.
He was Zoche to many special Kiruvem from the Rebbe, by Yechidus’in and Farbrenegns, especially associated with his Paintings.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. A Tiefenbrun and their children; Rabbi Aharon Tiefenbrun – London, England; Rabbi Elimelech Tiefenbrun – Crown Heights; Rabbi Naftoli Tiefenbrun – London, England; and Mrs. Ronya Fajnland – Long Beach, CA.
