Under the auspices of Rabbi Gavriel Gordon, the organization has continuously maintained the precious holy and historical sites in the small village, namely the resting places of our Rebbeim and their families.
In recent years, after a noted increase in tourist traffic, it was decided to kickstart a new initiative of rebuilding replicas of cherished historical buildings, such as the yeshiva, in order to provide an immersive atmosphere for those visiting from across the world.
The project was inspired by Rabbi Nosi Gurary and is also being overseen by Moscow’s Rabbi Yitzchok Kogan.
“Construction [of the yeshiva] is being done with wood from trees well over a hundred years old,” says the Facebook post, “perhaps the Lubavitcher Rebbeim and their Chassidim walked amongst them.”
