This year the light of Chanukah is being spread in an unprecedented manner! Over the first few days of Chanukah, we have seen an enormous outpouring of bochurim and avreichim along with their families join Sheepshead Bay’s grand Mivtzoim operation. The light and joy of Chanukah is being shared with Yidden of every background and walk of life. The flames are burning bright in the homes and hearts of all the participants.

To some, lighting the menorah with a family whom they know for less than 5 minutes is their only connection to Yiddishkeit. Nevertheless, it is hard to put in words the joy and appreciation radiating on their faces as they make the brachos and light the candles. The light of Chanukah is shining so bright, it’s palpable.

But we’re not done! The goal this year is to reach 9,000 Yidden. Even though the success so far has been tremendous we’ve still got a long way to go! Lots more light must be spread, there are many more neshamos to ignite.

And for that we need you!
