A bold letter was recently sent out to the parents of the students of Bnos Menachem, detailing the standards of tznius expected from all of its students’ mothers, for the coming year.

The purpose of the new standards is to “create a ripple effect in the community at large,” says school director, Motty Gurary. “Much of the success of this endeavor lies in the realization that as a group, we can make a significant difference if we try. We should not throw our hands up in despair, but rather, should unite to show our children that there is a better way.”

Applications for the upcoming school year will have to be given in together with this letter signed by the parents. Included is a list of seven points aiming to help make a Chassidishe environment. The letter concludes, “Parents who adhere to these rules will be welcomed in Bnos Menachem school.”
