“Insulation, electricity, furnishing,” said Rabbi Avrohom Raskin, director of the Chabad Jewish Center in Brattleboro. “It’s really not as daunting as starting from scratch.” His group purchased the property on Dec. 15. Raskin said about $100,000 was raised for the effort, mostly from local community members.
