Chof Hey Adar, which falls out on Shabbos, marks the 122nd birthday of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka. The Rebbetzin was born in the year 5661, and was named Chaya Mushka after the wife of the Tzemach Tzedek, by request of her grandfather the Rebbe Rashab. It is also the day, in 5748, which the Rebbe instituted ‘Mivtza Yom Huledes – The Birthday Campaign’, calling on all Jews young and old to keep to 10 customs on their birthdays.
Chof Hei Adar marks the birthday of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, the devoted wife of the Rebbe. In her honor birthday, the Rebbe personally edited three Maamorim over three consecutive years to be learned. Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz has taught these three Maamorim in video • Full Story, Watch
