From Beis Moshiach Magazine: The Bolsheviks were pounding on the door. The situation was bleak. The tables were laden with wine and whiskey which was also illegal. There was money in a bowl on the table, the donations of Chassidim for the needy; this was also illegal. The Chassidim were under no delusions. Their hearts skipped a beat and they did not know how they would get out of this serious situation.
