This afternoon R’ Osher and Rivka Karnowsky and family celebrated the Siyum Sefer Torah in honor of their son, Shmuel Karnowsky A”H. The writing and Siyum took place on Carroll St. and proceeded with a procession to Haichal Shmuel at Oholei Torah. Followed by hakofos and dancing. Thursday, Lag Ba’Omer, was a historic day for the Jewish community of the town of Georgina in Ontario, Canada, where Rabbi and Mrs. Yossi Vorovitch serve as the Rebbe’s Shluchim and direct the local Chabad Center.
