Rabbi Moshe Azman, Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Shliach to Kyiv, the country’s capital, blesses each passing car full of Jewish refugees fleeing the Jewish village of “Anatevka” as they embark on a long journey to the country’s western border. Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi Moshe Azman snapped a selfie with visiting Israeli President Isaac Herzog while Herzog attended an event, meeting various Shluchim and other Jewish community leaders in Ukraine’s capital Kiev. President Herzog, a staunch supporter of Chabad, is currently visiting the country, where he met with its Jewish President Volodimir Zalenskyy, as well as commemorated the 80th anniversary of the infamous Babi Yar massacre, which occurred at the hands of the Nazis yemach shemam.
Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman welcomed newly appointed Israeli ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky to Kiev’s “Brodsky Synagogue’, otherwise known as the city’s Central Chabad House.
