This Shabbat we read the first portion in the book of Deuteronomy where Moses, reprimands the Jews for all the sins they did during the previous 40 years of wandering in the desert. But at first glance this is not understood. The word ‘Torah’ means practical teaching. What importance does Moses’ rebuke to Jews that sinned over 3,300 years ago have to do with us??
