The Jewish community of Debrecen, Hungary inaugurated Chabad shliach Rabbi Shmuel Faigen as the cities first Chief Rabbi since WWII. The event was attended by Rabbi David Lau, Israel’s Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi, and Rabbi Shlomo Köves, Chief Rabbi of the EMIH-Hungarian Jewish Association.
