Camp Yeka’s winter camp for boys, which has warmed the souls of over a hundred campers from across Ukraine, has come to close. Its staff consider this year’s winter program a smashing success. Each year, Camp Yeka turns into a home for over 100 Jewish boys from disadvantaged and poverty stricken backgrounds. Many of the children are orphaned or come from abusive homes. Camp Yeka provides them with a glimmer of light, an opportunity to be free of all their worries and more than anything to just be happy Jewish kids.
