In a modest ceremony, a special Chabad House for Israelis was open in Kiev, Ukraine with a number of dignitaries in attendance including Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman, the Shliach to Kiev and the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine along with the philanthropist Daniel Schapiro who sponsored the new Chabad House in memory of his grandparents.
