Many communities around Sydney, Australia joined together to commemorate and celebrate Yud Tes Kislev together.
Following long stretches of Lockdown, Sydney’s Chabad Community, along with many friends and admirers of Lubavitch, united in honor of the Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Schniur Zalman of Liadi – the first leader of Chabad Chassidim.
Hosted by Chabad NSW under the leadership of Rabbi Pinchus Feldman, the farbrengen took place at Chabad of Double Bay.
Rabbi Yanky Berger, Spiritual Leader of Chabad Double Bay was the event’s MC.
Special guest speaker was Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Groner, Senior Shliach in Melbourne, continuing his father’s legacy of 50 years of shlichus and leadership. Rabbi Groner is also rov of Ohel Devorah Chabad in East St. Kilda.
