Rabbi Chaim Levy of Sydney’s Shul in Syndey, Australia teamed up with famous Israeli soccer player Tomer Hemed to host a Chanukah party aimed at making a difference. At the event, over 15,000 gifts were packed for children in hospitals across Australia. Teens and young adults joined to make the packages and took part in an uplifting menorah lighting. The atmosphere was electric and filled with Chanukah spirit. The event featured an Israeli DJ, donuts, and Israeli style buffet.
The event concluded on a high with Tomer raffling off asoccer ball signed by all the players of Western Sydney Wanderers, the jersey he wore during his first game, and a brand new iPhone 13.
