For the first time ever, masses have gathered in the central square of Aubervilliers, France to celebrate the Grand Kiddush Levana ceremony, as per instruction of the Rebbe exactly 30 years ago.
The area was decorated for the event and a live band with singers enlivened the crowd. The participants, who came from far and near, were welcomed with refreshments and l’chaim, and after reciting the ritual blessing, continued to dance the night away with a special joy, befit to welcome Moshiach.
The children were gathered for a Tzivos Hashem Kinus and received special Surprises.
Passerby’s were astonished by the scene, and were reluctant to join the lively circle, even the non-Jewish onlookers were moved, engaging them in conversation and accepting the 7 Mitzvos Benei Noach. “The event was powerful, we hope to celebrate the next one together with Moshiach” said Rabbi Shmulik Tewel, local Shliach and organizer of the event.
