Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ohr Elchonon Chabad in Los Angeles, Harav Ezra Schochet, paid a Yom Tov visit to leading Roshei Yeshivos in Bnei Brak while in Eretz Yisroel for Pesach, on a visit being described as ‘historic’.
Rabbi Shochet visited the roshei yeshiva of Yeshivas Ponovezh Harav Hagaon Gershon Eidelshtein shlita and Harav Hagaon Baruch Dov Povarsky shlita. He continued to visit the roshei yeshiva of the Slobodka yeshiva Harav Hagaon Dov Landau shlita and Harav Hagaon Moshe Hillel Hirsh shlita. He also paid a visit to Harav Hagaon Yitszhok Aizik Landa, Rov of the city.
Rabbi Shochet held deep conversations in Torah with the abovementioned geonim, causing a treendous kiddush Lubavitch.
