Watch: Emotional Kinus Following 27 Adar

A full crowd of Chassidim and bochurim gathered at the main shul of Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights on Motzoei Shabbos, Chof Gimmel Adar II 5752.
The gathering followed the fateful day of the 27th of Adar I, 5752 (Monday, March 2, 1992), when the Rebbe suffered a disabling stroke while davening at the Ohel of the Frierdiker Rebbe in Queens.
At the gathering, the crowd recited Tehilim for the Rebbe’s health, as had been done for over a month in Chabad institutions and Jewish communities around the world.
Rabbi Leibel Altein, a choizer of the Rebbe’s teachings, emceed the gathering, during which the Aron Kodesh was opened and a heartfelt Psak Din signed by 100 Rabbonim was read.
Members of the Rebbe’s Mazkirus, Rabbi Leibel Groner, Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, and Rabbi Binyomin Klein spoke with passion in regards to every Chosid’s responsibility to increase in Torah and Mitzvos for the Rebbe’s Refuah.
The crowd also heard from Crown Heights physician Dr. Eli Rosenwho was part of the medical team that treated the Rebbe.
The Rebbe’s choizerim and Chabad Mashpiim Rabbi Yoel Kahn, Rabbi Shlomo Majeski, and Rabbi Nachman Schaprio spoke as well.
Before concluding, the Aron Kodesh was opened once more, and Shma Koleinu was said followed by the singing of Avinu Malkeinu.
