“Shluchim Shtetl” a winter camp program for children of Shluchim, came to a close this week after a fantastic session. For the first time, the camp was hosted in Dnipro’s magnificent Menorah Center.

Every year the camp gains more and more international prestige – this year the sons of Shluchim from 26 countries, including South Korea, Nigeria, France, Belgium, Israel, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, of course, Ukraine and others, joined. Led by Rabbi Moshe Leib Weber, the program enlightened its campers with a professionally crafted learning curriculum, as well as invigorated them with chayus, thanks to the 14 counselors who travelled from the U.S. to run it.

Campers returned to their homes, some travelling thousands of miles, eagerly waiting for the ‘Shluchim Shtetl’ camp, satisfying both their parents, as well as the dedicated staff who made this year’s program a possibility.
