For the third year, Megillah was read for the staff of the Israeli Consulate including Ambassador Dani Dayan & Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon by NJ Shliach Mendy Carlebach.
Immediately after the Megillah reading was over, Ambassador Dayan exclaimed with excitement that during the Laining a modern-day miracle of Purim took place. It was at that moment that President Trump announced the US will recognize Israel’s sovereignty on the Golan Heights.
Ambassador Danny Danon exclaimed that this was a busy week for him and Chabad as he was honored earlier this week on Monday as the Guest of Honor at Chabad House of Rutgers University at their 40th Year Gala.
