Chabad of Abuja, Nigeria led by Rabbi Israel and Haya Uzan and Chabad of Lagos, Nigeria led by Rabbi Mendy and Mazal Sternbach hosted a remarkable Lag Baomer in their respective cities.
Just arriving back to their Shlichus from the regional Kinus Hashluchim held in Lisbon, Portugal, the Nigerian Shluchim were Inspired by Rabbi Kotlarsky’s call to reach 120 million mitzvos as a gift for the Rebbe’s birthday.
Together they launched the Nigerian mitzvah page with their own goal. Banners, flyers, videos of the Rebbe and more were used to rally the crowds.
