New Niggun Chosen for Kapitel 120
Over the past two days, a panel of seasoned Ba’alei Menagnim selected the Nigun for Kapitel 120 in Tehillim, in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday. The Niggun chosen out of over 52 (!) Over the past two days, a panel of seasoned Ba’alei Menagnim selected the Nigun for Kapitel 120 in Tehillim, in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday. For several hours, R’ Zalman Laufer, R’ Shlomo Leib Abramowitz, R’ Zalman Baumgarten, R’ Berel Zucker, and R’ Eliyohu Edelman, R’ Mendel Reitzes listened attentively to over 52 (!) Niggunim submitted by Chasidim from around the globe.
The Niggun chosen was composed by Hatomim Yaakov Hurwitz and R’ Kuti Feldman.
A ChabadInfo.com reporter was informed that the decision was particularly difficult this year, due to the great investment of the various Ba’alei Menagnim who put in much effort and composed very successful Chassidishe Niggunim.
The members of the “Lubavitch Niggunim Committee” would like to thank all the Ba’alei Menagnim who submitted their compositions in honor of the Rebbe, and hope that this will bring on the “New Song” in the true and complete redemption speedily in our days.
