Letter of Clarification From The Crown Heights Beis Din
The Rabbonim of Crown Heights write in a letter to the residents: the Rabbonim see a need to inform and publicize that Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Halevi Segal is not authorized to represent the Badatz of Crown Heights, not in Torah law and not in any matter, neither in writing nor orally, and is not related to the Badatz in any way • Full Letter
After many unsuccessful behind-the-scenes efforts, and after many warnings over the years, the Rabbionnim of Crown Heights issue a letter of clarification.
The Rabbonim of the Crown Heights neighborhood, members of the Beis Din Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun and Rabbi Avraham Osdoba write in a letter to the residents of Crown Heights: The Rabbonim see a need to inform and publicize that Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Halevi Segal is not authorized to represent the Badatz of Crown Heights, not in Torah law and not in any matter, neither in writing nor orally, and is not related to the Badatz in any way.
The Rabbonim conclude at the end of the letter “and in a place meant to shortened we are not allowed to extend, out of respect.”
The letter is signed by the two members of the Beis Din, Rabbi Braun and Rabbi Osdoba.
