In just a few days, our entire community will unite as one to BE WELL, GET WELL, GIVE WELL. On Tuesday, February 2nd BE”H, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights will be launching a 36-hour campaign to raise $360,000 to help our community heal.
Bikur Cholim’s mission of Healing Through Kindness brings hope, help and healing to the community by giving critically ill patients and their families whatever assistance they need to get through a medical crisis.
Unfortunately, over the past year we have witnessed a dramatic surge in requests for Bikur Cholim services. The unprecedented medical crisis resulted in hospitalized parents, jobs lost, widespread isolation and the subsequent fallout—an increased need for urgent mental health support.
Crown Heights is blessed to have Bikur Cholim in its midst, to address the community’s many needs with the onset of this new crisis. Now Bikur Cholim needs your help.
Our capacity to respond has always been directly tied to the funds we raise. Whatever we collect, we immediately distribute. And we’re very proud to report that our overhead costs are close to zero, so all money donated is used to help the community.
