As Lubavitchers we take pride that money will never be a reason to deny any Yid a place at the local Chabad House, so why does ‘Mendy’ from our community, deserve less than what Chabad offers others?
At Chovevei Torah, we believe that every Bochur deserves to be in yeshiva regardless of his parent’s financial situation. As in the past, we accept a large number of Bochurim with substantial scholarships, this year we already extended ourselves beyond our means.
Sadly, several Bochurim are still at home after being denied from Yeshiva after Yeshiva due to their parent’s lack of ability to commit to the basic tuition costs.
Our goal is to help every one of them be enrolled in Yeshiva before Rosh Hashana.
You can make this a reality by providing badly needed scholarship funds to help us house, feed, and educate these desperate Bochurim.
Help us out today, before our own ‘Mendy’, chooses a less desirable alternative than going to yeshiva.
