Last Motzei Shabbos, thousands of individuals from around the world tuned in to take part in Oholei Torah’s LIVE Kumzitz, celebrating Chinuch and raising the funds needed to purchase and renovate their brand new building.

Benny Friedman and Eli Marcus sang their hearts out in a magnificent performance. Viewers were invited to partake in a moving Melaveh Malka themed Kumzitz. Throughout the evening they were joined by child star Yidel Treiger and Levy Falkowitz’s soul stirring vocals definitely added a special touch.

The ambiance was incredibly varem and the nostalgia was flowing as Oholei Torah’s past and present merged flawlessly with their broad vision for the future.

Dispersed throughout the evening were inspirational stories, personal encounters with the Rebbe and moving testimonials of time spent in Oholei Torah. The powerful words were shared by parents, students and staff alike and helped give the viewers a glimpse into the hallways of Oholei Torah throughout the years. The teachers who give their heart and soul to their Talmidim every single day were especially recognized for their tireless dedication.

The evening was inspiring for all.

Brick by brick, the funds needed for the brand new Mesivta building were raised. The response was so overwhelmingly positive that when the 5 million dollar goal was reached with time to spare, an additional goal of 1 million dollars was added to the total.

Oholei Torah would like to take the opportunity to thank the community for showing up in tremendous numbers in support of Oholei Torah and for the future of our community’s Chinuch. The response of the community has been incredibly touching and empowering as we make bold strides to ensure the best possible education for our talmidim for the years to come.

The tremendous celebration of Chinuch was made possible by a dedicated team who worked around the clock to ensure the best possible outcome as everyone joined together to build for our boys!
