Chayolei Counselors Keep Up the Fire From Camp

Although the official EGP program at Camp Chayolei Hamelech has concluded, the shluchim are still hard at work making sure the bochurim maintain the fire they gained in camp until their respective Yeshiva programs begin.
The official program ended Thursday afternoon with the bochurim being dropped off at Kingston and President at 3:00 PM.
The bochurim arrived changed people. Many took on hachlatos of going to mikvah, davening with a minyan, walking in the street with a hat and jacket, writing to the Rebbe more often, amongst others. They were proud to return to the Rebbe MH”M and his shechunah in such a manner.
The very next day, the Shluchim headed with them to Manhattan on mivtzoyim, setting up a mivtzoim stand to help many fellow Jews fulfill the mitzvah of Tefillin.
Friday night the shluchim met with the bochurim in 770 to engage the bochurim, giving them a chayus in davening.
The very next morning, those who woke up for Shabbos Mevarchim Tehillim in 770 were helped to special mezonos prepared by the shluchim.
The shluchim then arranged a grand Shabbos Mevarchim farbrengen in the spirit of the Rebbe’s directive.
The group also celebrated the wedding of their learning director Zali Shifrin in a spirit of achdus.
Tuesday night the shluchim arranged a special seder sichos for the bochurim in 770. Each bochur received a copy of the sicha of Shoftim 5751, a slice of fresh pizza, and a can of soda. The boys made sure to learn with much chayus.
The Rebbe is surely proud of every single one of the bachurim, and of the strides they made in camp adding to their yiddishkeit and chassidishkeit!
