We regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Yisroel Janowski, a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and longtime member of Toronto’s anash community. He passed away on Tuesday, 4 Nissan 5782.
He was 74.
He is survived by his wife Chani and children Mendel, Chaim Dovid, and Dovi.
He is also survived by his mother Blanche.
He was predeceased by his daughter Hudi Bernstein obm.
The Levaya will take place today in Toronto, passing Chabad Gate at 10:45 AM and at Pardes Sholom Cemetery at 11:30 am.
