Levaya of Mrs. Chave Hecht Passes in Front of 770 and NCFJE HQ

Thousands lined the service lane of Eastern Parkway this afternoon to catch the levaya of Mrs. Chave Hecht, wife of beloved chossid and activist Rabbi JJ Hecht, who passed away this morning. The levaya passed in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, continuing to the headquarters of the National Conference for the Furtherance of Jewish Education, the organization founded by the Hechts decades ago • Photos
