With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Asher Halevi Heber, OB”M, an educator and longtime member of the Crown Heights community. He passed away on Thursday, Ches Nissan. He was 81-years-old.
He has reportedly passed away after contracting the Coronavirus.
He was Zocheh that the Rebbe served as Kvater by his Bris, when the Rebbe and Rebbetzin lived in Paris.
He is survived by his wife Nechama (nee Goldstein), and children; Rabbi Noach Heber – New York; Mrs. Yaffie Begun – Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mrs. Brocha Chana Metzger – Manhattan, NY; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
