In a special initiative to fulfill the Rebbe’s directive to print the Tanya wherever Yidden live, the Tanya was printed in 25 new communities and farms across Har Chevron that were established over the past three years.
The initiative was organized by the Rebbe’s Shluchim in the region: Rabbi Yosef Nachshon of Chevron, Rabbi Itzik Neimark, the Rebbe’s Shliach to youth in Kiryat Arba and Har Chevron, and Rabbi Shmulik Sasson, director of Beis Chabad Telem.
The project brings the teachings of Chassidus to communities that have emerged across the Har Chevron region in recent years, ensuring that each of these new locations has its own printed edition of Tanya.
The printing of Tanya in locations where Yidden live is part of a Mivtza initiated by the Rebbe, who called for the sefer to be printed in Jewish communities around the world. The Rebbe emphasized that printing Tanya in a particular location brings the wellsprings of Chassidus to that place and encourages the study and dissemination of its teachings.
Since the Rebbe started the Mivtza, thousands of editions of Tanya have been printed across the globe, in cities, towns and remote locations. The initiative in Har Chevron continues this effort, extending the presence of Tanya to 25 newly established communities and farms in the region.
The project reflects the ongoing work of the local Shluchim to strengthen Jewish life throughout Har Chevron and bring the Rebbe’s teachings to every place where Yidden live.
