After dedicated and tireless work, an impressive and beautifully produced volume has seen the light of day: “Ufaratzta Chabad” — stories of mitzvah campaigns and the boundless care of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach.

The book vividly conveys the Rebbe’s immense love for every Jew, as a faithful shepherd devoted to his people.

Through fulfilling the Rebbe’s directives and engaging in the mitzvah campaigns, Jews merit to witness miracles, wonders, and healings that transcend the limits of natural logic.

Written in Russian, the book is presented in an engaging, accessible style, rich in content and clarity, characteristic of the inspiring approach of the shliach, Rabbi Zalman HaKohen Abelsky, Chief Rabbi of Moldova and its capital, Chișinău, and founding Shliach in the Republic of Moldova.

The publication of this work connects the reader to active participation in Ufaratzta — the spreading of the wellsprings of Chassidus, in preparation for welcoming Moshiach Tzidkeinu in actual reality.

As the reader journeys through the book, he experiences a direct encounter with the persona of the Nasi of the generation, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, MH”M, and is guided in how a Jew should view the world, how to connect to the Rebbe, and how to prepare the entire reality for the revelation of Moshiach Tzidkeinu.

The book opens a gateway for deeper connection to the Rebbe, for drawing additional Jews closer, for publicizing and studying the teachings of Chassidus, cleaving to its path, walking in its ways, and inspiring one’s surroundings to follow.

The book was authored by one of the earliest shluchim to the countries of the Former Soviet Union, Rabbi Zalman Tovia HaKohen Abelsky, Chief Rabbi of Moldova and Chișinău, and the spiritual father of Moldovan Jewry.

Thirty-six years ago — twice chai — he merited to set out on the Rebbe’s shlichus to the lands of the Soviet Union, establishing a firm foundation in his country of shlichus, Moldova, with the blessing of the Rebbe who sent him.

The editing and printing of the book were carried out by the shliach Rabbi Menachem Mendel Zalmanov, grandson of the Chief Rabbi of Moldova and Chișinău.

The book was published by Lishkat Ezrat Achim Chabad-Lubavitch, together with Maayanot HaRaza Publishing Institute, established in memory of Rabbi Zalman HaKohen Abelsky.

The book “Ufaratzta Chabad” is being distributed to Jews from the Former Soviet Union throughout the world, drawing readers into the inner world of Chabad Chassidus and into the persona of the Nasi of our generation — dor hashvii, the Generation of Geulah.
