The Shloshim of Rabbi Meir Roness OBM, a chossid who helped organize and fund the dissemination of Chassidic teachings for over 50 years, took place tonight (Thursday).
At the event Rabbi Shlomo Majeski, Dean of Machon Chana, spoke about R’ Meir and what we have to learn from him. Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, Head Shliach of California, a good friend of R’ Meir spoke as well.
Renowned lecturer, Rabbi Yossi Jacobson, addressed the crowd about the importance of spreading chassidus. R’ Meir’s cousin from Flatbush spoke about his closeness with R’ Meir. He spoke about R’ Meir’s Mesiros Nefesh, in addition to the general spreading of Chassidus, specifically for sending out the weekly Geulah publication.
The event was emceed by Rabbi Shmuel Butman, the Chairman of Tzach.
The event was held in the Kollel of Crown Heights and was organized by the Tzach.
