Mrs. Faigie Hershcovich, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a dear member of Montreal’s Anash community passed away today, 23 Av.
Mrs. Hershcovich was an experienced nurse and midwife who merited to help bring many Jewish children into the world. She also served on the city’s chevra kadisha.
She is survived by her husband Mechel, and their children Chani Myhill (West Hartford, CN), Lena Silverstein (Coral Springs, FL), Ben-Zion Hershcovich (Cabo, Mexico), Zvi Peretz Hershcovich (NDG, QC), Esther Hershcovich (Tel Aviv, Israel), Bashie Naparstek (Montréal, QC), and Malky Shuchat (Haifa, Israel), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
