In Chevron’s old cemetery, the resting place of Rebbetzin Menucha Rochel, daughter of the Mitteler Rebbe, was desecrated by Arab vandals, together with a large mural of the Rebbe MH”M in the Jewish settlement.
The vandals smashed lamps and broke down the gate to the cemetery during their night of destruction.
Shluchim on the ground have informed us that the police are opening an investigation into the matter.
The Rebbe’s portrait has become a landmark part of Chevron’s Jewish community.
