Bochurim Rewarded for Diligent Study
The Israeli kvutzah bochurim who participate in the ongoing “Yissachar and Zvulun Project” recently ramped up their learning efforts in response to the ongoing situation in Eretz Yisroel. The Israeli kvutzah bochurim who participate in the ongoing “Yissachar and Zvulun Project” recently ramped up their learning efforts in response to the ongoing situation in Eretz Yisroel.
The project, aimed at incentivizing diligent learning, gives over 200 bochurim multiple study tracks for Gemara, Halacha, and Chassidus. Bochurim are tested on what learn, with those passing receiving financial rewards.
The project was launched by Iggudei Talmidei Hakvutzah in order to encourage the bochurim to keep seder and utilize the ultimately limited time they have to learn in Beis Chayenu. The stipends which the bochurim receive generously help them cover their basic living costs.
