In the center of Crown Height, at the corner of Kingston Avenue and Crown Street, a brutal carjacking attack took place this morning.
At about 7:30 Monday morning, a Lubavitch man left his car running while getting something from his trunk.
Suddenly two assailants attacked him, pushed him down, and jumped into his car. In the struggle, the victim sustained injuries.
A young man, described as wearing a white shirt and black shorts, is the description of one of the teens involved in the attack.
A nearby woman screamed as the car jacker made a sudden U-turn, and began driving the wrong way down Kingston Ave.
As the carjackers got to Montgomery Street they lost control of the vehicle, at which point they abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
Shmira obtained security footage images of the perp. If seen call Shmira 718-221-0303 and 911.
FDNY transported the owner of the vehicle to the hospital, and the Police are investigating the incident.
