With great sadness we inform you of the passing of the Skulener Rebbe, Harav Yisroel Avrohom Portugal, OB”M. He was 95-years-old.
The Skulener Rebbe was Niftar on Monday afternoon at John Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore where he has been hospitalized for nearly two months.
The Misaskim Organization has been working with the NYPD and the family, and a plan has already been put into place, as tens of thousands are expected to attend a massive Levaya in Boro Park.
The Levaya will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00AM at the Skulener Bais medrash on 13th Avenue and 54th Street, and the Kevura will be in Monsey at the Vishnitzer Bais Hakvaros.
